Venture beyond the usual radius of the Annapolis City Dock that a walking tour or your legs will allow. Fast-forward glide into the future -- on a Segway. It is the best way to tour and experience more of historic Annapolis in less time. Use this time machine with our colonial-clad guide (optional) to experience the past via the present. Your 2 hour tour begins with a 20 minute segway training and practice session. (Similar to time colonials used to spend bonding with a new horse) A journey it is! You will effortlessly glide over the footsteps of the founding fathers.
The itinerary and route of each tour varies somewhat, so we can't say ahead of time exactly which locations will be visited on a specific tour. We do, however, usually visit as many of the following as possible:

The Segway is the first self-balancing, electric-powered transportation device. This technology, termed "dynamic stabilization," is the essence of the Segway. Gyroscopes and tilt sensors monitor a rider's center of gravity at about 100 times a second. When a rider leans slightly forward, the Segway moves forward; when the rider leans slightly back, the Segway moves backward. Capital City Colonials in conjunction with Segs in the City can get you rolling.
Participants must be at least 14 years old. Segways are not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 260 pounds. All Segway riders must sign a liability waiver before participating. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.
